Semprun recalled: "my only identity link was my own memory", link also nur- tured by his poetic memory, from which it drew the words that give life to his stories. There are also narrative processes that Jorge Semprun used in //Adieu, vive clarté...//, in order to witness the devastated landscape of his soul: his exile, deportation and life un- derground. Indeed, for Semprun to culti- vate the memory and the testimony is nec- essary to frame the moral of the resistance in the context of his experiences. In addi- tion, it is through writing that Semprun found freedom and the dignity of human beings.
